Support Types

Every time you use a support your support bar fills up a little bit, when full it starts to burn letting you know that your supports will now assist you according to there type.

• Attack Type –  these ninja attack the enemy with you dealing extra damage during your combo’s they also jump in after your opponent is knocked back(by a jutsu or an explosive tag) and knocks him back towards you allowing you to continue to attack or even land another jutsu.
• Defense Type -these ninja will jump in and guard you as you load your chakra blocking all shurikens that are thrown at you and they will also deflect 1 jutsu. They will also come in to protect you if someone chakra dashes at you, protecting you and temporarily stunning them.
• Balance Type – these ninja throw chakra shurikens with you and if you are going to be hit by an ultimate they sacrifice themselves and take the damage from the ultimate.

Colored Circles?

You may notice that upon picking supports there are colored circles that fill up depending on who you pick. These circles come in 3 different colors(Red, Blue, Purple). There are a lot different explanations as to what these circles could mean and there is no explanation in the games booklet nor does cc2 say anything about it, to my knowledge,  but I have heard 2 theories that to me make the most sense, not really sure as to which is the correct though.

1st :

• Red – Physical Damage, this increases the physical damage done by your supports when they come in to assist you, this is mainly for people who use attack support types and go for a bunch of combos during the game.
• Blue –  Swap Speed, this reduces the time it takes for your support to come down onto the field and use his jutsu, this is good for people who use there supports as utilities to either set up combos or keep there opponent away from them.
• Purple –  Jutsu Damage, this increases the damage done by a supports jutsu, this is for people who rely on supports more for there jutsu’s and less for the assistance during combo’s.

2nd :

• Red – Team Ultimate jutsu does more damage.
• Blue  – Assist meter fill up faster allowing you to call down your support sooner.
• Purple – Team support drive fills up faster.
